Shrove Tuesday February 25, 2009: This event involved a record attendance and was an excellent means to prepare for Lent and support Gethsemane youth as they look forward to their national convention.
Annual Congregational Meeting & Luncheon February 1, 2009: Gethsemane Men in Mission turned out in large numbers to prepare and serve lunch prior to the annual congregational meeting.  Profits were designated for Gethsemane youth who will attend the National Youth Convention.

Cristo Rey Medical Mission; Doctor Erik represented Gethsemane and with Dr John Lancaster and a team of 26 from Iowa , saw 280 folks the first three days.  Some of the crew worked with Hands and Feet Ministries at Alleluia Church nearby building a carpentry shop - March 2009
