Men in Mission
9:00 AM - Third Thursday of each month (Music Room)

A fellowship for the men of Gethsemane providing spiritual growth and thanksgiving. Speakers include men and women with diverse backgrounds in subjects that cover a wide range of controversial as well as informative topics of the day. Coffee, devotions and conversation begins 9 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month followed by a tour of area attractions and lunch with return to Gethsemane by 1:30 p.m. It helps to clothe men in a suit of God's armor as they live the message of the Gospel in daily activities. Men offer fellowship meals for the congregation as a means of raising funds to support various activities in which Gethsemane is involved - youth, Habitat for Humanity, scholarships, WELCA World Relief, CROP walk, Gethsemane Lutheran Children's Ministry and other Gethsemane and community service projects.

Gethsemane Pilgrims
Gethsemane offers pilgrim trips to various parts of the world to see God's history come alive, and participate as community. Recent trips have been to the Holy Land, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Great Britain and Scandanavia, Germany, Russia and China. Preparation dealing with faith and the various histories and culture are included for all interested.

Contact Pastor Kent Bohls at (512) 836-8560 for more information on future trips. There will be a trip in 2010 to see the "Passion Play" in Germany.
